Meet Raspy, our mascot

RASP: Island-style holiday celebration 2010

The party was really fun—and so was the Island-style slam. The first prize went to RASP newcomer, Peggy Barnett, who roped in the Beat poets, a lot of 50s history, humor, and our nuclear heritage, using the words "hydrogen jukebox"," "antidisestablishmentarianism", and "scrumptious". Mike Meredith won second prize with his comparison of slackers and saints, and Bill Hayes finished third with the best line of the evening, "Screw the contest, let's drink some wine".
